At just five years old, Emperor, lovingly known as “Champ,” has already lived up to his name.

Born in Mississippi, Champ has faced complex gastrointestinal conditions that required multiple surgeries and specialized care far from home.

When his family learned he needed treatment at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Ohio, the distance and cost felt overwhelming. That’s when Miracle Flights stepped in—removing the burden of travel so Champ could focus on healing.

Carlos, or “Carlitos,” begins each day with joy, curiosity, and a spirit that inspires everyone around him. Born with hypotonic cerebral palsy, he relies on ongoing therapies that improve mobility and independence.
