Field Trip Follow Ups! 🚌

👁️ In January our Explorations and Foundations classes stepped into an optometrist’s office and became eye doctors for the day! They practiced exams, tested each other’s vision, and saw the world from a whole new perspective.

🌴 Then it was off to the beautiful Smith Center for the Performing Arts for a lively performance of Chicka Chicka Boom Boom - letters, laughter, and rhythm brought to life on stage! 🎭

🖼️ Last week all of our LVEA students visited the Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art. They took the time to slow down and reflect, observe, discuss, and immerse themselves into the exhibits. We may even have some future artists in our midst! 🎨

The School Choice Fair is amazing event that LVEA was able to participate in today! We loved being able to meet with so many families and community members, and showcase our school and just why school choice matters! School choice fair unites parents, educators amid Nevada challenges Families across the Las Vegas Valley had the chance to explore dozens of education options all under one roof this weekend.

We’re looking back to December, and remembering just how much fun our students had! From Christmas Craft Day, to our Holly Jolly Holiday Shop, and even our Secret Santa student gift exchange - it was all a wonderful way to celebrate the holiday season! 🎄

We’re now looking forward to the new year, and to all the exciting things we have in store here at LVEA! 🪩💜

Oh my! LVEA students recently took a field trip to the Las Vegas Science & Natural History Museum and spent the afternoon with lions, and dinosaurs, and sharks. There may even have been a mummy or two, and we even spotted a few “wild” animals of our own! 👀💜
