LOL!
The Bee announced today that only words with 12 letters will be permitted at this year's competition. That means spellers can focus on words like quinquennium, abnegatingly, and henhousingly and avoid those pesky small ones.
🐝
Just kidding. April Fool's.

It may be a full nine months until Christmas Eve, but it's still fun to daydream about one of the world’s most book-loving traditions: Jólabókaflóðið (say it with us: YO-la-bo-ka-fluh-thoyth). 🇮🇸
The Icelandic “Christmas Book Flood” is exactly what it sounds like. Every year in the months leading up to Christmas, publishers release a wave of new titles. A national catalogue – Bókatíðindi or “Journal of Books” – is delivered free to every household, and families pick out books to give as gifts.
The tradition dates back to 1944, when wartime import limits meant Icelanders had fewer gift options, but books (and paper!) were still plentiful. Books became – and continue to be – the most popular holiday gift in the country. Our favorite part? The cozy custom of spending Christmas Eve reading the books you just received, along with hot cocoa and chocolate. 📖
Loving books this much is a tradition worth celebrating all year long. 🐝

Why spelling matters! Vocabulary included.
"Can you use it in a sentence?"
The $2.64 Intimidation Crab Meat bullied me out of my lunch money in aisle 6. 🦀
Friendly reminder: Spell check can't save you when the words are actually spelled correctly. Grab that dictionary before you price the seafood! 🤣🐝
