Congrats to the UNLV Debate team on an excellent showing this weekend at the ASU tournament. UNLV PS (Pregman & Saxe) advanced to the final round where they lost a close debate to the ASU home team on a 2-1 decision. Congrats to UNLV EJ (Eriksen & Jallits) for being ranked as the TOP 2 individual speakers at the tournament! Congrats also to UNLV CC (Carerra & Cottrell) also went 4-2, but missed on points.

Debate Watchers Get A Town Brawl : NPR A group who gathered Tuesday in Las Vegas to watch the presidential debate saw a base-rousing spectacle of Barack Obama's and Mitt Romney's dislike for each other.
