Field Day brought games, teamwork and friendly competition to Central Park today as NMHU students gathered for an afternoon sponsored by Student Life. 🎯

Tomorrow, the action moves to Sanchez Family Stadium as the Cowboys open the season against Eastern New Mexico University.

🏞️ NMHU Lake Day Makes a Splash at Storrie Lake! 💦

NMHU students brought the energy with kayaking, paddleboarding, great food and plenty of time to connect outside the classroom.

A special thank you to NMHU Outdoor Recreation and everyone who helped coordinate transportation, food, equipment, activities and safety. Most importantly, thank you to all the Cowboys and Cowgirls who came out and made Lake Day a tremendous success!

💜 A new academic year begins at Highlands! ☀️

The energy of a fresh start filled the Student Union Center Ballroom this morning as NMHU faculty and staff gathered for our Welcome Back Campus Breakfast.

The morning offered an opportunity to reconnect, welcome new colleagues and prepare for the year ahead.

A special Highlands welcome to our newest faculty and staff! We are excited to have you join our university community and contribute your talents, experience and ideas.
