Shinkyokushinkai Karate Las Vegas, NV USA

An outstanding night of training at Vegas Warriors Dojo with my Sensei, Sensei Luis Torregrosa, Country Representative of WKO Shinkyokushin USA! 🥋👊

Our students put in serious work with plenty of kumite and the opportunity to learn directly from his experience. It was a privilege to have him on the floor with us, sharing his knowledge and pushing everyone to improve.

We call it what it was: a great night of training. Every visit doesn’t need an “international seminar” title—the quality of the instruction and the work on the floor speak for themselves.

Thank you, Sensei, for your time, guidance, and continued support of our dojo. And thank you to our students for bringing the effort and spirit! Osu!

Help Us Raise the Standard at the 6th American Open Championship

A great tournament isn’t defined only by the competitors—it is built on the dedication, professionalism, and integrity of its officials.

As part of our commitment to delivering one of the highest-quality full-contact karate events in North America, we are now accepting registrations for referees for the 6th American Full Contact Open Championship.

To ensure consistency and excellence on every tatami, we will also host an Official Referee Seminar on Friday, August 28 at 6:00 PM, where we’ll review tournament procedures, officiating standards, rule updates, and expectations before competition begins.

Our goal is simple:

-Fair competition
-Consistent officiating
-A first-class experience for every athlete, coach, and spectator.

If you are a qualified referee and would like to be part of this year’s championship, we invite you to register today. Officials will also be able to order the official referee uniform through our registration portal.

When athletes travel from across the United States and around the world to compete, they deserve an event that is organized, professional, and held to the highest standards. Investing in exceptional officials is one of the many ways we continue to make that commitment.

I am proud to support this outstanding event hosted by Shihan Serhiy Mutin.

The 2nd International Kata Camp is a great opportunity for karateka to deepen their understanding of Shinkyokushin kata, refine their technical skills, and train alongside dedicated practitioners committed to preserving and advancing our art.

Seminars like this strengthen our organization by bringing together students and instructors in the spirit of learning, mutual respect, and continuous improvement. Whether you are looking to sharpen your kata, enhance your teaching methodology, or simply challenge yourself, this camp promises to be an exceptional experience.

I encourage all WKO Shinkyokushin members, as well as all Kyokushin practitioners, to take advantage of this opportunity and support this event.

OSU!
