The Athletics welcomed Miracle Flights as their Nonprofit Partner of the Game in Sacramento and helped us celebrate Gracelyn Castaneda in her home state.

Gracelyn ourrarelife lives with a form of leukodystrophy, one of a group of rare genetic disorders that affect the brain, spinal cord and nerves. We were honored to share the evening with her and the Castaneda family.

It meant so much to look around the ballpark and see our guests wearing Miracle Flights jerseys in support. Thank you to the team from Shriners Children’s Northern California shrinersnorca our friends at ManagedPAY and our Board Chairman, Dr. Khorsandi VIP Plastic Surgery for joining us and showing up for our mission. Shriners’ commitment to children’s specialized care aligns closely with our work to remove distance as a barrier, and we hope to explore how Miracle Flights can help more of the children they serve reach that care.

Joining the A’s in Sacramento reflects a broader commitment to meet families and organizations where they are, in communities across the country.

Thank you to the athletics for giving Gracelyn this special recognition and sharing our mission with your fans. And Miles and Stomper clearly enjoyed their moment together, too! 🐻🐘⚾️✈️❤️

Miracle Flights is headed to TravCon 2026!

From September 13–16, we’ll be joining travel nurses and healthcare professionals from across the country in Las Vegas to share the Miracle Flights mission and an important resource they can bring back to their patients.

For families who must travel long distances to access specialized medical care, knowing where to turn for help can make all the difference. Healthcare professionals are often among the first to connect patients with resources like Miracle Flights.

We’re excited to meet the TravCon community, raise awareness of Miracle Flights as a resource for families in need, and help more healthcare professionals connect eligible children with free commercial air travel to access life-changing medical care. 💙✈️
