Thai people love Ralph because Ralph enjoys eating Plakem.
To Ralph, Plakem has a distinctly beautiful aroma.
But like wine and cheese, not everybody likes them.
He often asks me to cook his all-time favorite, Plakem fried rice.

There’s one dish my American, "farang" husband could eat every single day: Plakem fried rice—salted fish, bold, deep, with a distinctly beautiful aroma.
The way he sees it, Plakem is like fine wine and cheese. And when it's done right, the taste is out of this world.
