History came to life in Mrs. Laswell's 6th grade Ancient Civilizations class! 🪨🎨

While learning about early cave people, students created their own cave paintings with a little help from their classroom "caves!"

With the lights dimmed and cave sounds playing, students worked underneath their desks to experience what it might have been like to create art inside a cave thousands of years ago!

🎓 Congratulations to our FOUR National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists! 🛡️

Riley Chan, Ella Wiesel, Violet Trujillo, and Quinten Miranda have been named Semifinalists in the 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program!

More than 16,000 students nationwide earned this distinction, representing less than 1% of U.S. high school seniors. Semifinalists now have the opportunity to advance to the Finalist level and compete for National Merit Scholarships offered next spring.

Congratulations, Crusaders, on this incredible academic achievement! 🎉

Our Girls Golf team had a record-breaking weekend as they traveled to San Clemente for the Lady Triton Rainbow Invitational, finishing 3rd among approximately 20 teams! 🛡️

Maddie Perez took 2nd place individually after shooting an incredible 65 and ultimately falling in a playoff. Her 65 broke the tournament record of 66, which had stood since 2003! 🤯

Maddie's scorecard and signature now hang in the trophy case at San Clemente Municipal Golf Course to commemorate the new record!

Congratulations, Crusaders! 🏌️‍♀️

Did you notice a special guest helping with parking lot duty today? 👀🐾

Salome Comfort Dog from LCC K-9 Comfort Dogs made a visit to campus today! 🐶

After making sure everything was running smoothly outside, Salome spent some time visiting with our students and getting LOTS of pets along the way!

We always love having Salome and her team stop by to spend time with our Crusaders! 🛡️🐾
