We’re excited to share that our alumni has joined the team at Titleist Performance Institute as Principal of Player Research and Instruction and we couldn’t be more proud of him.
Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) is the world’s leading education and training organization focused on understanding how the human body performs in relation to the golf swing.
In his new role, Paxton will collaborate closely with TPI co-founders Dave Phillips and Dr. Greg Rose, work alongside leading Tour professionals, and help drive innovative research that continues to shape the future of the golf industry.
Paxton brings a strong passion for player development and evidence-based instruction, and we’re excited to see the impact he will make as TPI continues advancing performance, education, and research across the golf industry.

Hunter Kitagawa represented UNLV at the 2026 PGA WORKS Collegiate Championship held May 4–6 at The Park in West Palm Beach, Florida. Known as one of the most culturally significant events in collegiate golf for minority-serving institutions, the championship featured three rounds of competition and brought together some of the most talented players in the game. Hunter described it as a true honor to compete and represent UNLV on such a meaningful stage, and he is grateful for the opportunity and the memories made throughout the week. Highlights from the event will air on Golf Channel.
