Yesterday, Community Services of Nevada (CSNV) had the incredible honor to join our friends at Henderson United Presbyterian Church during their three-day member meeting event. We had the pleasure to share a meal together and share some of the work our organization has done since its inception, through the pandemic, and continues to do till this day. Part of that work has involved providing guidance and assistance to homeowners facing foreclosure; helping individuals achieve homeownership after receiving free financial literacy education, coaching and in many cases, downpayment assistance for first-time homebuyers; providing adult literacy education and career readiness training; offering immigration-related services and connecting our community to accessible health resources; and so much more!
We are thankful for the opportunity to celebrate our joint efforts of empowering our communities and changing lives for the better. 💙

CSNV agradece la invitación de Nevada School Choice Coalition y la Federacion Americana para los Niños para participar en , que se lleva a cabo el día de hoy, sábado 25 de enero, de 10 AM a 2 PM, en IPEC Las Vegas (6590 Bermuda Rd, LV, NV 8919). En el evento, las familias podrán conocer decenas de opciones y programas para la educación de sus hijos.
CSNV está presente para compartir información de sus programas de Vivienda, Educación para Adultos, Migración y de Esperanza Hope For All, programa que promueve la salud preventiva de las comunidades.

Location: Valley View Park (2000 Bennett St, North Las Vegas, NV 89030).

The Family Support Center is a Clark County School District office that provides resource information and services to families with students from K-12. Among their services, they offer free routine immunizations twice a month and, in partnership with the Southern Nevada Health District and UNLV Department of Pediatrics and School of Dental Medicine, they offer additional health services by appointment. Community Services of Nevada (CSNV) has collaborated with the Family Support Center by spreading the information on the valuable community resources and services that offer a means of accessible health for our communities.

We had the opportunity to attend an end-of-the-year celebration with the Family Support Center's wonderful staff, other partners in the community, and the dozens of families that have benefited from these programs.

As always, we look forward to continue working together in the coming year to bridge the gap between our communities and the essential health resources available to them.
