Don’t underestimate the power of AND! 🙌

A mother replaced her baby’s modern cartoons with classic programs from the 1990s and noticed two quick changes.

She said her child appeared calmer and maintained attention without becoming overstimulated. Older shows often use slower scene changes, softer sounds, and simpler stories than many current programs.

One family’s experience cannot prove that every modern cartoon causes behavior problems. Screen time length, sleep, age, and each child’s needs can affect reactions.

Parents may still find value in testing slower programs and watching how their children respond.
