Great to see my friend Mark Kerr at the worlds championship in California , we used to train together all the time in the past, was great to talk old stories and great good times. Everyone should see his movie Smash Machine!!

“JITS DO IT”.Last week I competed on the IBJJF MIAMI OPEN and placed 🥇gold on heavyweight division and 🥈silver on the absolute division, great to be back on the mat doing what I love, back in the game. Was too busy working on my progress to post before. In November I made a goal to lose weight and go back to competing, in January I was 45 pounds less and competing in Portugal in the Europeans championship, I didn’t pass the quarterfinals on that tournament but I was back in the game 4 divisions lower that I competed in the year before. Here on the Los Angeles open I place Gold on my division and bronze on the absolute division, I was satisfied with the results because I new I was back on the game. It’s on now, new season, new me!
