Forensic Science
Today the teens utilized their observation skills to work their first crime scene simulation.
Their tasks were:
1. Work in teams to identify evidence.
2. Identify extraneous evidence.
3. Identify and measure footprints, shoe prints, handprints, and fingerprints.
4. Identify the victim
5. Identify the suspect
6. Present their evidence and try to solve the crime.

Team 1- Detective Karli Atkinson, Officer Jayden Gonzalez, and Officer Michael Mayorga

Team 2- Detective Hennessy Gonzalez, Officer Kaden Atkinson, and Officer Hutchins

Both teams worked carefully and diligently to identify that Joseph Bustani was the victim of a victimless crime. He was the victim of a series of unfortunate events that led to a fictional nosebleed 🤣.

Great job everyone! So proud of your teamwork, communication, and observation skills.

We had an amazing first day with my full time crew.

Our Thursday co-op is now officially full 😊.

Only 9 days until high school co-op begins! Omg I am so excited for all of the amazing things we have planned for this year.

Our middle school co-op begins on Thursday, 08/27. The middle school crew will be learning Earth & Space science this year. Be prepared for many interactive projects!!

Today has been a wonderful day. Reconnecting with old friends, receiving an astonishing amount of crafting items for the upcoming school year, and we have received an overwhelming response for our middle school co-op openings.
I will be scheduling meet & greets over the next couple of weeks, and will finalize our roster asap.

Today we were gifted a ton of amazing art supplies from one of our former co-op families. We are beyond grateful for this donation.

Exciting news!!!
After a 4 year hiatus our middle school co-op is resuming, and we only have 2 spots available.

Classes will be held on Thursdays from 12:30-4:30 beginning Tuesday, 08/27/26.

Academics include:
1. Language Arts
2. World Cultures & Religions (including music & culinary)
3. Math
4. Science
5. Latin
