A message of solidarity from UNLV President Marta Meana | Office of the President | University of Nevada, Las Vegas Dear colleagues and students, It is with a heavy heart that I reach out to you in light of the appalling death of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis Police. This is just the last in a far too long list of similar atrocities and there is only so much we can bear.

The UGSP is a highly competitive program with approximately 300 nationwide applications received annually and 10 students chosen as UGSP Scholars for the 2019-2020 academic year. Robin’s selection as a UGSP Scholar speaks highly of her accomplishments.
At UNLV Robin is a member of the AANAPISI-STEM program conducting behavior and genetic research on Hawaiian Drosophila in Dr. Donald Price’s research laboratory.
