As of last night the guys were in the South West of the Democratic Republic of Congo. They have been pushing hard , and had a few "interesting" moments - hopefully we will get a blog update in a few days when they reach somewhere a bit more safe and can regroup a bit. Dont forget you can track their daily progress on https://mikeoshea.ie/africa-tracking/

So we are 146km for Cochabamba and there has been two road slides 50km ahead so we are stopped up for the night. The queue of trucks gets longer and longer and there is no update only that a car and driver were taken with today's slide, so it's a waiting game, or take a 10hr detour to get to the same distance we are on a road that may have the same issues. So it's a case of listen to the rain drops and birds and insects, and get up at 4.30am to have another go.
