The Fun Carnival — This WEEKEND! Get ready for a weekend filled with carnival rides, games, delicious food, and nonstop family fun! The Fun Carnival is coming to Craig Ranch Regional Park in North Las Vegas for three exciting days.

Lumi Round Up is around the corner for NVLA's K-5th grade students! This event will be on Wednesday, August 26th from 5 PM to 7 PM.

NVLA invites teachers, students, staff, and members of our Clark County community to attend monthly Principal Advisory Committee meetings with Principal Michael Martin.

Each month, Principal Martin will provide a State of the School presentation that includes all school happenings, including Budget and Staffing updates. Attendees will be encouraged to speak with the principal and share any questions, comments, successes, or concerns regarding NVLA.

Our first monthly online meeting will be August 27, 2026, at 3:30 pm. Please see the school newsletter regarding the link information to access the meeting! Let’s collaborate, communicate, and make this school year one of progress, partnership, and purpose.

Well, the weekend is upon us and now you can recharge your battery! Have a great weekend NVLA Community, and take the time to enjoy what is left of the summer season.

It's already the middle of the first week of school. The first week can feel like a lot, but take a breath and remember: YOU’VE GOT THIS! Keep showing up, keep asking questions, keep learning, and keep pushing forward. Every day is another chance to get into your groove and make this school year a great one.

And remember, the weekend is getting closer. Hang in there, NVLA! You’re doing better than you think!

Senior Sunrise is happening August 28th at 5:45 AM at NVLA! Yes, you read that correctly… 5:45 AM. Before you blame your alarm clock, remember: this is senior year, and apparently we are starting it before the sun has even finished getting ready! 😂

Come celebrate your FINAL year of school with music, games, food, pictures, and plenty of senior memories. Bring your friends, bring your school spirit, and most importantly, bring yourself and your ability to function before sunrise! ☀️
