The purpose of the Student Bar Association is to act as a means for student self governance. It provides an effective medium for the expression of student views and serves as a liason between students and the faculty & administration. The SBA also sponsors such activities as may be deemed beneficial to the Law School community and specifically to the students.

This past weekend, SBA President Will Swisher and SBA Vice President Tatym Lamb traveled to Chicago to proudly represent the William S. Boyd School of Law at the American Bar Association Annual Meeting!
Throughout the conference, they attended thought-provoking presentations, including an amazing panel featuring former Supreme Court justices from around the world, among them former U.S. Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer. They also had the opportunity to network with attorneys from firms across the country, and collaborate with incredible law students representing schools nationwide⚖️

Our Student Bar Association President Will Swisher and Full Time Vice President Tatym Lamb had a wonderful time last week attending the Nevada State Bar Conference in Maui, Hawaii! Their week was filled with lots of educational presentations, networking opportunities, and of course some fun!🌺🏝️
