๐๐ Happy Fatherโs Day from the Eta Chi Sigma Alumnae Chapter! ๐๐
Today we celebrate the fathers and father figures whose love, strength, and guidance make a difference every day. Wishing you a day filled with joy, appreciation, and family.
โค๏ธ๐ ๐คHappy Juneteenth! ๐ค๐โค๏ธ
The Eta Chi Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Las Vegas proudly joins in celebrating freedom, culture, and the ongoing journey toward justice for all.
โ๐พ๐ค๐โค๏ธโ๐พ
Today, we honor the resilience, strength, and enduring legacy of those who fought for freedom and justice. Juneteenth - the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the end of slavery in the United States - marks the day, June 19, 1865 when federal troops arrived in Galveston, Texas, to ensure all enslaved people were freed, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.

As we celebrate this historic day, let us continue to uplift our communities, preserve our history, and inspire future generations to pursue equity, unity, and progress.
Today, the sorors of the Eta Chi Sigma Alumnae chapter honor the life and legacy of Cultured Pearl Arcola F. Stafford as she made her Earthly transition yesterday morning. Inducted May 15, 1969 into the Alpha Xi chapter, Cultured Pearl Stafford was a proud Charter member of the Eta Chi Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Las Vegas, NV, Charter member of the Mu Rho Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Henderson, NV, SPEAR foundation board member, Emeritus Director, trailblazer, educator, and faithful steward of the SPEAR Foundation and Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. Her impact in Southern Nevada as an educator and public servant will continue to be felt for generations to come.
A proud Life Member and Cultured Pearl of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. and an esteemed alumna of Philander-Smith College, Cultured Pearl Staffordโs leadership and impact extended deeply throughout the sisterhood and community. Whether through her work in education, the arts, the SPEAR Foundation, or the sorority, she leaves behind a legacy rooted in excellence, service, and love for people.
Since 1993, Cultured Pearl Stafford faithfully served alongside the SPEAR Foundation Founding President & CEO, as well as the 18th International Grand Basileus of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., Corine J. Green - helping to shape and sustain the vision of the Foundation. As a founding board member and immediate past Treasurer for more than 30 years, her stewardship, financial leadership, wisdom, and unwavering commitment helped guide the Foundation with integrity and purpose.
Please continue to keep Cultured Pearl Staffordโs family, friends, Sorors, and those that loved her lifted in prayer during this incredibly difficult time.
Cultured Pearl Staffordโs legacy will forever live on through the countless lives she touched, the paths she paved, and the foundation she helped build for future generations. ๐๐
