As future dentists it is important for us to provide our patients with the best possible treatment and procedures that are learned through an extensive amount of schooling. SB366 will allow people with minimal training who don’t earn a doctorate degree to do irreversible procedures on patients. This bill claims that it will increase access to care but here are the facts:

96% of publicly insured children live within 15 minutes of a Medicaid dentist

Nevada has seen a 13% growth of dentists in the last four years

Dentists supply is expected to outpace demand well into the future

It is of vital importance to protect the integrity of our profession and safety of our patients. Please Vote NO on SB366
