Teach, teach, teach! Our tip of the day is to always explain your expectations to students. Students have a desire to do good and listen, we just need to make sure we are putting in the effort to explain everything, even if at times it seems redundant. Students deserve our best effort!

We want to start spotlighting some of our amazing schools!

First up is CIVICA Academy! They are a 2nd year charter school located in North Las Vegas. They are committed to setting an environment that strives for academic achievement, develops character, and maintains the goal of preparing students to serve and give back to their community in the field of public service.

They are a great campus that is expanding to high school for the upcoming school year and will be K-9th grade. If you would love to give back and substitute teach on this campus please let us know!

Let’s be honest, being a substitute teacher can be a challenging job. We truly appreciate when teachers take the time to acknowledge the good work that TROOP substitute teachers do. These emails mean the world to us and our teachers. We are grateful for the tremendous teachers who represent TROOP so well in each of our schools day in and day out.
