Celebrating National Midwifery Week! 👩‍🍼 We are grateful for every certified nurse-midwife (CNM) providing essential perinatal care in our community.

CNMs deliver holistic treatment spanning pregnancy, birth, postpartum, newborn, and gynecologic care. While many work in hospitals and clinics, others provide care in birth centers, homes, schools, the military, prisons, and wherever there is a need for care. 🩺

Nursing doesn't stop at the bedside. ♻️

BSN students toured a Republic Services recycling facility to see firsthand how waste management and recycling practices shape the health of our community. Back in the classroom, they'll share those observations and explore how nursing interventions can improve population health.

Healthier environments make healthier communities, and our future nurses are learning how to lead the way. 💚

PROGRESS UPDATE: With help from the newly formed VR Simulation Advisory Board, our VR prototypes are set to debut this Fall with our Level 4 BSN students! We're excited to get their feedback to understand how we may be able to integrate these experiences into clinical days at the Simulation Center.
