Congratulations to our Summer Class of 2026 graduates! 🎉

We celebrated more than 100 students who graduated with their BSN or Masters in Direct-Entry or Nurse Educator degrees this summer. This class came to us from 14 countries and nearly 20 U.S. states, and speaks close to two dozen languages between them. Almost half are the first in their family to earn a college degree, and the overwhelming majority plan to stay right here in Nevada to practice.

A special thank you to the Governor's Office for presenting us with a certificate recognizing our recent National League for Nursing Center of Excellence designation.

This is what the future of nursing in our community looks like. Congratulations, Class of 2026! 🩺❤️

Future Nurse Leaders, welcome to the family! 🩺 This week’s College Day gave our newest pre-nursing students the chance to meet faculty, staff, current students, and community partners. They had the opportunity to get certified in CPR or Stop the Bleed, make custom pens, sing karaoke, write comfort letters to patients, and sip dirty sodas from Unlv Pre-Nursing. 🥤

The Dean's Scholar Program is now accepting applications for incoming pre-nursing UNLV students. 🩺 As Dean's Scholars, pre-nursing students receive early acceptance into the BSN program while completing their pre-requisites.

Applicants must have/be:
⭐ Incoming high school graduates with accepted or pending acceptance to UNLV as pre-nursing majors
⭐ High School GPA of 3.5+
⭐ Letter of recommendation from a professional who can speak to the student's abilities and potential for success in a healthcare environment
⭐ Essay on your nursing goals
