New Horizons Academy Receives $10,000 Grant to Help Families Access Specialized Education
LAS VEGAS, NV — New Horizons Academy in Las Vegas has received a $10,000 grant from The Howe Foundation | Wells Fargo to help families afford specialized education for children in grades K-12 with special needs, including autism, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental and learning differences.
For many families, finding the right educational environment for their child can be a challenging journey. Parents of autistic and neurodivergent children often spend years searching for schools that understand their children's unique learning styles, recognize their strengths, and provide the individualized support they need to succeed. The cost of specialized education, however, can place these opportunities beyond the reach of many families.
This generous grant will help ease that financial burden by providing admission assistance to eligible families, allowing more students to access an educational environment designed around their individual needs.
