We are still so full of emotion from yesterday’s Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for our Serenity Garden.
Under perfect skies and a gentle breeze, voices of recovery filled the grounds of our humble and very special campus.
The roots of Mission High School are found in every young life and family touched by addiction. Our hope is planted in every promise shared by those who have found recovery — and strengthened by every person willing to nurture the possibility of what comes next.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us, both those returning during Homecoming Week and those stepping onto our campus and learning our “why” for the first time.
A special thank you to our speakers, including two of Mission High School’s founders, alumni of our 2019 graduating class, alumni parent, our current students, and the community supporters who continue to stand beside our mission. Your words gave voice to where we began, how far we have come, and the hope we continue to plant for every student and family who walks through our doors.
During National Recovery Month, it was especially meaningful to dedicate a garden made possible through the generosity of the Maxx Crosby Foundation. This will be a space rooted in recovery, nurtured by community, and created for hope to grow.
We have many more moments from this special day to share, but we could not wait to begin with the most important:
