On Day 2 of Teacher Appreciation Week, the Mission High School counselors celebrated our outstanding teachers with delectable delights and personalized goodie bags. The congenial and collaborative amongst the teachers and counselors is an important highlight of our school and a critical aspect of making our .

Thank you City of Las Vegas Government, and specifically Mellissia Fredricksen and Sky Koelsch, for helping us kick off Teacher Appreciation Week 2026 with terrific tacos from Cafe Rio! Your support and enthusiasm for our faculty, staff, and students is nothing short of AMAZING!

An ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS Saturday morning was spent with . Our students,families and staff joined their Recovery Run Saturdays. We couldn't be prouder of all these students and families-they showed up and were involved from beginning to end. A BIG thank you to James for donating our after run meal amd our Alumni family for their continued support!
A HUGE thank you to Coach Willis for training our students all year. They did it! They 🏃‍♂️ 🏃‍♀️ ran, along with staff. Off to plan the next run!!

Honoring the lives lost to overdose.

We love the Mission of Shine a Light Foundation. It is our honor to lead our students in this effort. Thank you to our Student Council and advisors for leading us in this project.

Thank you to our friends at Mission High School for collecting and donating clothing to our unhoused friends and those just beginning their journey. Your generosity brings comfort, dignity, and real support to the people we serve.
