If you or anyone you know has a kindergarten student starting at Divich in August please check out and/or share the image above for information regarding our Kindergarten Boot Camp!

Students must be registered via Infinite Campus prior to signing up for our boot camp. Once the online registration is complete, you will be sent the sign-up.

Kindergarten Boot Camp is designed to help both students and parents feel excited, confident, and ready for the first day of school!

Parents will gather in the MPR, where our administrative team will provide important information about daily routines, expectations, and ways to support your student's success in kindergarten.

Students will work with some of our awesome kindergarten teachers for a fun and engaging introduction to their new learning environment. We are excited to help our new Knights get comfortable listening, participating, and interacting in a classroom setting.

3. Early Dismissal: Friday, May 22 is the last day of school. Students are dismissed at 12:30 PM. Lunch is not served on the last day. Afternoon Safekey is not available on Friday, May 22.

4. Online Registration for the 2026-2027 school year is open! Online registration must be completed for every student each year. Please make sure you can access your Infinite Campus Parent Portal account. 6. We are so EXCITED to have our choir once again sing the National Anthem at the Las Vegas Aviators game on Friday, May 8!!

We are making this game a Knight Out with the Aviators. We are hoping to have as many Divich families come out to support our choir and of course the Aviators!

7. PTO Knight Out at Lazy Dog on Friday, May 15 at the Downtown Summerlin location. See image 8 for all the details.

8. We are pleased to announce that we are once again partnering with EduKit for the upcoming school year to offer an easy and convenient way for our families to shop for school supplies!

Each EduKit contains exactly what your child’s teacher needs for next year. Kits will be sent directly to your home by the end of July. Order by June 19th for best pricing!

School supply lists are currently posted on our website for those who prefer to shop on their own, but we are thrilled to offer this option to our families for the 2026-2027 school year.

Hello Knight Family!

Mrs. Miller, CCSD New Elementary Educator of the Year, received special recognition today when Superintendent Ebert and Trustee Dominguez visited her classroom. The visit included a gift basket valued at over $7,800 and a framed copy of the Las Vegas Review Journal article that highlights all of CCSD’s Educator of the Year winners.

Way to go Mrs. Miller, you deserve it!!

Hello Knight Family!

I am proud to share that Divich ES is home to the CCSD New Elementary Educator of the Year, Mrs. Chelsea Miller! While Mrs. Miller is not new to the Knight family, having previously served as an SPTA in our Pre-K program, her transition into the classroom as a teacher has been truly inspiring. She embraced this new role with remarkable passion, dedication, and ambition, and this well-deserved recognition reflects the impact she is already making in her classroom and across our school community.

Mrs. Miller will be honored at the Evening of Excellence on March 23 alongside other outstanding CCSD nominees, including Divich’s own Melissa Banks, Support Professional of the Year; Ligia Voican, Educator of the Year; and Sandy Zurbriggen, Assistant Principal of the Year. We are incredibly proud of each of them and I look forward to celebrating their achievements together!
