In order to develop a formal business continuity program, Ereka Morton, GRC information security analyst, leveraged the Fusion risk management platform to break down silos across campus and bring and business teams together.

With Fusion, critical processes, priorities, and recovery expectations can be defined within the unique structural challenges of universities like UNLV.

“It’s been a transition from mostly ex*****on to thinking more strategically about where we take the program next,” said Morton.

Featured in the day three edition of 2026 Show Daily, UNLV gave a tour of different innovative learning environments, including Dreamscape Learn and the new Immersive Learning Lab. Need to use MyUNLV over the July 4 holiday weekend? 🎆

From 5 p.m. Thursday, July 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday, July 5 (PDT) users will not be able to log into MyUNLV. Students, faculty & staff should complete any important tasks before the planned outage.

The AI Explorers Summer Camp is a hands-on program for students to work with real AI tools, solve problems, and create their own ideas in a fun, friendly competition.

Throughout the week, students will:
✅ Learn how AI is used in everyday life
✅ Build problem-solving and teamwork skills
✅ Gain exposure to tools shaping the future
