Not just the physical release, but mental and emotional I felt was like nothing else I had ever experienced. Super excited to announce our 6th recipient of this year's Danny Sine Memorial Scholarships, from Yellow Bird Yoga Healing Collective, in Fairbanks, AK, Olivia Lunsford. She says, "I met Hot 26+2 Yoga in 2012 when I was living in Memphis, TN. After that first 90-minute class, I knew it was the style for me. I spent the next several years getting into whatever studios I could find throughout my walks of life. After spending acountless hours at Yellowbird Yoga, I have reconnected with my desire to deepen my own practice through better understanding and eventually contribute to the studio’s schedule. The benefits of this practice have shown themselves to me in more ways than one. Everything about this practice has worked for me and I’m grateful to have the opportunity to help share that message with my own experiences as proof". Today, July 9th, we celebrate the life and work of our Bayamacharya, Sri Bishnu Charan Ghosh! So many around the world have benefited from his contributions to fitness, yoga and his dedication to teaching. We are ever grateful for his work and may we all remember him today and always.
