We want to say a massive “Thank You” to Sunshine Metals and PASU Progressive Alloy. They made the latest Rebel Racing sponsored Senior Design project entirely possible with their donation of 7075 and 6061 aluminum and 4340 alloy. Likewise, they also provided 9310 stock for us and then even water jetted the material.
The parts for the radial piston hydraulic motor were machined completely from materials provided by these sponsors, making this project possible. Specifically, components such as the hydraulic manifold, rotating cylinder block, wear plates, cylinder bores, the cam ring, output shaft, and the case were all crafted with the material provided by them. Endurance day was filled with challenges and excitement. But, it was great to see RR7 on track again in Oregon where it originally had its first race. We are looking forward to racing again soon in Rochester, New York!

Endurance: 24th out of 76 teams — 26 laps total with a fastest lap of 3:49.858
