At NVCPG, we believe everyone deserves access to compassionate, affirming support and resources. Creating communities where people feel seen, respected, and connected is an important part of promoting mental health and preventing gambling-related harm.

We are proud to stand with the LQBTQ+ community this Pride Month and throughout the year as we continue working toward a healthier, more inclusive Nevada for all.

Burnout doesn’t just affect providers. It can impact ethical decision-making, professional boundaries, and quality of care.

Nicole Williams led an important discussion on the realities addiction and gambling treatment professionals face, from emotional exhaustion and role overload to the long-term impact of untreated burnout in clinical settings.

This session highlighted practical strategies to support workforce sustainability while maintaining strong ethical standards of care for both providers and clients.
