I had the privilege of sharing a small part of my story and about what I do today at a local church. Surprisingly enough the person introducing me was my very first probation officer who I’ve stayed connected to throughout the years. Something he said meant the world to me and I wanted to share it. He said he knew when I got sober and came to speak to him about God that it was the most genuine transformation he has ever witnessed.

Me.

The girl who had to be held in segregation in the jail because no one wanted to be around her.

Me. The local low bottom drug addict.

Me. The common criminal.

Me. The petty thief.

Me. With the bad name.

Me.

Because what the enemy meant for evil God works it out for the good. And anything good in me is HIM.

When you have true sobriety, and God on the inside it will always shine through to others. You don’t have to be the loudest in the room. You don’t have to defend your past. You don’t have to pave your own way.

God does the work as long as we do our best to keep a pure heart and do right by others.

Thank you God for transforming my heart and my life.

And if he can do it for ME he can absolutely do it for YOU. ❤️
