As a community service announcement, please see the attachment for the First Responders Night on September 30, 2026, from 6-8pm, at the Mesquite Recreation Center.

Any student wishing to have a retake should bring their ORIGINAL PICTURE PACKAGE to exchange for the retake image.

The parent/guardian will receive a camera pass via email. This can either be printed or texted to the student and brought to picture day. The photographer will photograph the printed camera pass along with the student.

If a student is not able to print their camera pass, that is not a problem. We will match up the student to their order manually in the production process.
A parent may order from the flyer up until 24 hours after picture day. After 24 hours, the online ordering access may close.

All proof packages offer parents a second opportunity to order prints. All orders are subject to shipping and handling costs of up to $8.50 and will be shipped directly to home.

The Cross Country teams for Hughes Middle School and Virgin Valley High School competed at the Silver State 3K race in Boulder City on Saturday, September 19th. The massive race featured 65 schools and 741 runners from across the State and was highly competitive.
Students who finished the race in the top 30 runners received medals for their performance and Hughes and Virgin Valley had 6 students earn medals.
The Bulldogs had impressive finishes from Makayla, Cameron, Tyzin and Ethan, while the Hughes Hawks added Lainey and Katelyn to the medal count for Mesquite.

The Hughes Hawks ran their fastest race of the season at Martin MS and THE ENTIRE TEAM registered personal best times!
The Hawks efforts resulted in a 2nd place finish for the girls and a 4th place finish for the boys.

The Hughes Hawks ran hard in a huge meet with 8 schools and 132 racers. It was a tough course in the 100 degree heat, but the Hawks performed well.

The girls cross country team beat Johnson, Schofield, Hyde Park, Grant Sawyer, Monaco, and Roy Martin Middle School, taking 2nd place overall behind Leavitt Middle School. Odette Marchant and Lainey Humes both received medals for their top individual finishes in the race!
The boys team beat 5 schools on their way to a 3rd place finish behind Leavitt and Johnson Middle School.

Good job Hughes Hawks and Coach Wallace!
