Huge thank you to Navarro Research and Engineering for the grant that allowed us to create a dissection lab for our STEM program! 6th grade participated in an owl pellet dissection to better understand food webs, 7th/8th participated in a frog and fetal pig dissection to better understand body systems, their functions, the interconnection between systems, and to compare the similarities and differences between animal and human body systems. None of this could have been possible without the community commitment grant to support our advancement of curriculum in STEM!

Earth Day fun with Kinder!😊🌎

Operating room projects where students took on the role of surgeons in a grammar hospital! They had to diagnose what’s wrong with the sentence structure and then treat the grammatical issues.🩺

In Math class they are learning practice applications with manipulation of ingredients and recipes- “if a recipe is for 8 people but you have 30 coming to dinner?..” keep math relevant and hands on!! The kids loved the cookies they made!!
