What an AMAZING start to the school year!

Today, families joined us for fun classroom activities and filled our blacktop with inspiring chalk messages! To top it off, every single student went home with a brand-new backpack packed with supplies.

We are excited to kick off the 2026–2027 school year and can't wait to welcome our students and families back to campus!

First Day of School
Monday, August 10
8:55 - 10:30 a.m.

Families are invited to walk with their students to class to start the day with their teacher.

Today, we had the joy of welcoming our newest Kindergarten friends to campus to our very first Kindergarten Kick-off!
Students had the opportunity to meet their teachers, connect with classmates, and begin getting excited for an amazing school year ahead.

Due to your donation, every student at our school will receive a brand-new backpack filled with school supplies on the first day of the 2026–2027 school year. Your kindness is helping our students start the year feeling prepared, confident, and excited to learn.

Congratulations to all of our students for finishing another successful year at Bracken! We celebrated our final day with an end-of-the-year luau celebration for reaching our school-wide reading goal of 13 million words! Way to go Investi-Gators! We are so proud of you. Thank you to our wonderful families for their continued support! We couldn’t have done it without you. Wishing everyone a safe and fun summer!

As part of their Project Based Learning (PBL) unit on Financial Literacy, our 4th grade students hosted a marketplace event for staff and students in 2nd and 3rd grade! Using classroom dollars, visitors purchased goods created, manufactured and marketed by our talented 4th graders.

We are so proud of the creativity, hard work, and entrepreneurial spirit our students demonstrated throughout this project. Way to go, 4th grade!

What a terrific way to end the week! Field Day was a HUGE success! The STEAM Club designed over 20 games for our students to participate in! From engineering obstacle courses to strategic team challenges, students had a blast! A huge thank you to the firefighters who visited today and helped everyone cool off with a fun water spray! We’re also incredibly grateful for our amazing family volunteers who helped make the day run smoothly. Your support, energy, and school spirit made a big difference for our students and staff!
