🌎 **Celebrating Culture & Community at Faiss!**

Our Multicultural Club was honored to host guest speaker Ms. Fernanda, a proud parent of one of our Faiss students! She led an engaging presentation on the rich culture and heritage of Ecuador.

Students walked away not only with a deeper appreciation of Ecuadorian culture, but also with their very own Ecuadorian cookbook so they can try preparing authentic cultural cuisines at home with their families! 🍲📖

A heart-felt thank you to Ms. Fernanda for sharing her time, story, and culture with our students! ❤️

📚 **DON'T MISS IT!** The Scholastic Book Fair is at Faiss Library from **Sept 30 – Oct 7**!

Students can shop before/after school, during lunch, and during class visits[2]. Be sure to check out featured thrillers like Tiffany D. Jackson's *Ghost in the Nigh]! 👻📖

💳 **Easy Shopping:** Set up a Scholastic e-Wallet using our custom link (https://www.scholastic.com/bf/faissmiddleschool) so friends and family can add funds. Unused funds from previous years roll over automatically! Cash, cards, and Apple/Google Pay are also accepted.

Parents are invited to shop daily until 2:11 PM (front office check-in required). All proceeds buy new books for our library!

Our **Faiss Flyers Cross Country team** is off to an incredible start this season! Check out these amazing accomplishments:

🏅 **Silver State Invitational:** **FIVE** of our fabulous athletes medaled at the Silver State Invitational in Boulder City last weekend!

🏆 **Making Faiss History:** We hosted our **FIRST EVER** cross country meet right here at Faiss — and **BOTH our boys and girls teams took FIRST PLACE!** 🥇🥇

We are beyond proud of our student-athletes for their hard work, determination, and Flyer pride! Let's keep this momentum going! 💙⚡
