Slithering, crawling, and learning! 🐍🕷️🐢

Our Summer Camp Griffins had an unforgettable visit from a South American animal show today! Campers got an up-close look at incredible reptiles and arachnids while learning fascinating facts about their habitats, adaptations, and the important roles they play in nature.

There were plenty of smiles, lots of curiosity, and even a few brave campers who got to meet these amazing creatures up close! Experiences like these make learning come alive, and we love creating memories that our campers will never forget.

Last week our Griffins celebrated Chinese New Year with a special visit from lion dancers! 🐉 It was a fun and meaningful way for our students to experience culture, tradition, and community. The kids had an absolute blast!

💌 Pen Pals Meet at Last! 💌

For the past three months, something truly special has been happening right here on our campus. Our fifth graders and members of our middle school National Junior Honor Society have been pen pals, exchanging handwritten letters, sharing stories, and building meaningful connections just across the field from one another.

As part of this initiative, our administrative leadership team created dedicated mailboxes on the building, giving students a special place to check for letters and experience the excitement of receiving real mail from their pen pal.

Today, those handwritten letters turned into smiles, laughter, and face-to-face connections as pen pals finally met in person. Now that they know who their pen pal is, the experience will continue through the end of the school year.

The heart behind this program is to intentionally build relationships between our fifth graders and middle school students so our fifth graders feel comfortable, confident, and excited as they transition into middle school next year. Watching these connections form has been incredibly special.
