Get ready to get nerdy about the details and start building a faster direct attack pattern. Time to get down to business, because range and firepower decide fights.

Far from a mythical beast, the bind is a highly practical and powerful tool in your fencing. “But what if they just leave the bind?” Approached correctly, this becomes exactly their quickest way to their demise. Once you understand a few principles and do the work, you can stop panicking to the next opening and start destroying opponents as Liechtenauer intended, with feeling.
