Watch your child long enough on the mats and you'll notice something most parents don't expect. They get tapped, they shake hands, and they get right back on their knees to go again. 🥋

Master Mario Aiello has been training Jiu-Jitsu for 41 years, and his path started in the most unexpected way, from a near fight on a beach in Saquarema to walking into Gracie Humaitá for the first time.

Since then, he trained under Master Hélio Gracie himself and built a life around one lesson: health and discipline are the real prize the belt never shows.

His advice for beginners? Train without fear of making mistakes, chase your best effort every day, and forget about the belt for a while.

When asked to sum up Jiu-Jitsu in one word, his answer was simple: “Everything.”
