The class of 95 is putting together their reunion and including 94 and 96. We weren’t able to pull ours off properly last year, so hopefully this makes up for it.

Good morning 30 year alum. Feel “young” yet?
HoCo has moved to 10/10 (yes a Thursday) vs Bonanza. Please don’t go destroy a Schlotskys.
Building out the event this weekend and will drop details by Sunday. Thanks for your patience.

Found out today that Homecoming is on a Thursday! 10/10 against Bonanza. More to follow. Any ideas, please share them with the group. I’m going to reprice everything again around that weekend and report back in the next week.
Hello WHS94s! Not to make you feel any older than we actually are but we’re as of yesterday we’re 2 years away from what would be our likely 30 year reunion date (yikes)!
Rather than wait until a couple months before hand and end up with the same amazing and might 19 that showed up last time, I thought we’d kick off the conversation now with plenty of time for planning and input.
That said, our goal will be to have the best experience, with the most attendance, at an affordable price. To achieve this goal we’ll need the participation of the whole group to figure out what we can do that creates the above best. The best attended reunion events I’ve seen has simply been a meet up at a friendly bar in the area. Not too much glitz and glam but a private area for us and a place to mingle with others.
My thought was to do the following
1. homecoming Friday. Attend on your own accord. This has not been a well received group event so if we do this we’ll just let WHS know we plan to attend and we’ll make a sign for our section.
2. Bar for Saturday, PKWY Tavern or something similar with a nice large open private area we can make our own. Everyone responsible for their own tab. Committee for decorations and light program. Slide show, some games with some prizes (drink tickets or gift card)
I was going to recommendation a park for Sunday but I think MOST of us don’t have kids at babysitting age any longer so fewer needs to have a separate second event.
Other ideas (not all “affordable”)-
-private party with paid entertainment (comedian/band) $150+ per all in
-weekend cruise $500+ per plus drinks
-Cabo all inclusive weekend $600 per all in
-private party banquet dinner $100+ per all in
-Vegas Bus Tour $75 per +drinks
-Mob Museum/Neon Museum etc private party $150+ all in
-charity fundraiser $250+ per all in
-park party bbq w/adult games $50 per all in
-sip and paint $50 per
-Mesquite (or similar) weekend getaway $150+ travel, food and drinks
-VGK Flight Deck $160 per all in
-Nearby Camping Weekend $100 per plus gear and travel
This is an open discussion and feedback and additional recommendations are encouraged.
Edited: the Homecoming game is likely end of September. Please include whether you think our reunion should involve homecoming or not. Thanks!

As the school season kicks off I’m reminded we’re only a year away from our 30th. *sigh*. To be young again.

Hey Vegas!!!!
Turn your sprinklers off for the weekend and save 2 million gallons of water.

I don’t know Joy but if one of you does please let her know it appears her IG has been hacked and they’re using it to try to hack others. DO NOT DO THIS FOR ANYONE ever unless you’ve spoken to them offline and confirmed it’s them.
Edited: I don’t know if Joy is a 94 either after all these follow up messages and I’m realizing we’ve got a bunch of folks in this group that probably don’t belong. Let’s w**d them out together.

Class of 94 we’re all set for our casual 25 year reunion. Friday 9/27 5pm tailgate at WHS. Homecoming game is 7pm. Game tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for kids. There are food and drink restrictions we are looking into and I will report back when I hear more.
I’m looking for recommendations for a spot to hang afterwards. I’m pretty sure I can get the Elks to allow us to hang there and that would also be “kid friendly” but I’m not sure that’s what everyone else will be interested in.
Please respond below with your thoughts and/or concerns so we can flesh this out together and make it a great event and a great way to support our school.
Heads up... the football team hasn’t been good at all as of late. They are 0-2 and haven’t scored yet. So be prepared for a lot of great conversation... but not very much good football.
There's been a little discussion brewing about a 25 year. I'd like to conduct a little survey to gauge interest.
A. Big Event planned with meal and entertainment
B. Free Pot Luck Picnic
C. Attend WHS homecoming game 2019 and hang afterwards
D. Make a suggestion of your own
