This week was a powerful week of love, acceptance and exposure. We are now able to say that the Clark County Department of Family Services is partnering with The Center to host an information session on how to become licensed Foster Parents! LGBT families, like any other family can provide the love and stability needed for the over 3,500 children in need of care!
Did you know that becoming a Foster Parent costs you only the price of a fingerprint. DFS provides the classes and resources to make your time with that child successful. Come and Learn on Tuesday, October 10th at 6:00pm @ The Center!

Join We Are Family in the Las Vegas Pride Parade Friday 9/18. The Parade Staging area is around Gass & 4th Downtown. I will be there at 5:30 to check us in and find out our exact staging location. When I check in Friday I will post where we are being staged on Face Book. If you PM Melanie I will give you my cell phone number.
You can arrive as late at 7:30. At 8 the parade will start.
The Pride Group is really good about having us near the front since we have children.
How to Get ready for Friday! Make Signs! Get colorful! If you are interested in buying a WAF shirt (our profile picture is the graphic) you can get them ahead of time if you are in Henderson or I can bring them to the Parade. They are $12.
