AND we honored last year's 2023 Concrete Canoe - THE WAY OF THE MIX!! 👏🛶

Please join the us and the College of Engineering's Alumni Chapter in celebrating the plaque dedication of ASCE's CONCRETE CANOES.

The event is free. Food and drink will be provided. Please RSVP to help with the headcount.

Reception - 4 pm (Inside of TBE-A Great Hall)
Dedication - 5 pm (Outside of TBE-A & B)

If you were on an ASCE canoe team, please help spread the news of this event as we would love to have our civil alumni unveil their own canoe plaques.

The 2019 STEAM Expo Event was a huge success! We had over 220 students, teachers, and parents attend the expo past Saturday. This was a day filled with activities promoting STEAM = Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics. We want to give a shoutout to all the organizations who hosted an activity & volunteers who made this day possible:

ASCE UNLV Student Chapter | : For sharing information on concrete canoe, steel bridge, & student chapter info.

UNLV College of Engineering | : Molly Marks for helping with space reservations and sharing information on UNLV

NSPE-NV | : For the Hoop Glider activity from thier STEM bucket kits. Dr. James for the arch bridge activity. Thank you to Brook for helping us adverstise the event!

Three Square | : for setting up the food drive and being the beneficiary food bank to receive donations

FIRST Robotics | : FIRST was there with a LEGO league based Activity Table and brought out a FIRST league robot to display
