Thank you to our Parent Club for creating an amazing Dia de los Mu***os display in our main hallway. We are learning so much about this tradition and it's significance.

Tomorrow is the 1st Day of School! We look forward to welcoming back all of our Skyhawks! Gates open at 7:40 am!

Our last week of Summer Acceleration was a blast! Ballet Montebello performed for us, we made slime, and we ran through the sprinklers until we were soaked! Even Ms. Doran and Ms. Hill got wet! Ms. Berrian loved Ms. Winnie's bubble machine! We hope all our Skyhawks have a great summer! See you in 7 weeks!

Thanks to NV Child Seekers, our students participated in "self empowering" training this week. It's important for our students to know they are strong and capable!
A team of students also spent time improving our ramp area. We are proud of our Skyhawks and their leadership!

What a great week!! We celebrated our teachers and staff Helen Herr style! Lots of food, Chance from VGK came to visit, and special dancers performed for our staff. Our students also performed "101 Dalmatians" for parents. We love our community and appreciate everyone that helped us make this week possible.

Our teachers have been working hard to get ready for students. School starts Monday. Gates open at 7:40 am. Thank you to Donut Tyme for donating donuts for our staff. Also, thank you to Wendy Webster for donating these much needed supplies.

We hope everyone has a restful and safe summer. There are some great opportunities to teach at Helen Herr this upcoming school year. See attached for more details.
