“Bee My Valentine” Stamp set is the star of our make and takes from today’s OnStage. It was great to hang out with these Stampin’ Up demonstrators, who are some of my favorite people in the world!
We were able to see much of the upcoming spring catalog and Saleabration free items…Yay! We also were able to watch demonstrations using these new things. And got really great new technique ideas!
Next time we are together for Onstage: in person in Houston! March 2024…hope some more of you can join us😊

Tonight: Playing with BEAUTIFUL new stamp sets and dies from Stampin’ Up! I love all Christmas cards, but a nativity scene of any kind has my heart.
Later this week, I’ll do a video on using a type of embossing folder called a HYBRID embossing folder…It cuts AND embosses at the same time! The first pictures show how beautiful they turn out.
Then I used the Night Divine dies to cut out the nativity scene on the second card. Combined with our O Holy Night designer series paper, stunning cards are an easy make! Come join me on November 17 for Christmas Card classes ! 10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Let me know below if you are interested!

Ok my blog is up! It’s just getting started, and I have much to add to it, but my goal was by November 1…I was close! But it’s in time to get a Christmas card class scheduled!
Thanks to my son-in-law, Garrett, for helping me get it started. So my blog is marylynnstampsandscraps.wordpress.com, and I hope it will be a fun source down the road!
The Christmas cards classes are scheduled for November 17, 10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. FREE for those who have their paper Pumpkin kits, and $3 per card (with envelope) for those who are not Paper Pumpkin subscribers. Let me know how many cards you want to make!

Last week, my friend Debbie and I got together to play with the beautiful "Home for the Holidays" Paper Pumpkin kit that came in October, AND the super blingy add-on cards and envelopes that go with this kit! What we discovered is that the add-on cards are much larger than those that came with the kit! So we placed many of the images that came in the Paper Pumpkin kit onto the larger cards, and used the "Trucking Along" bundle to finish off the original cards...they turned out so well I think!...

My blog is about to go live!
I’ll come back and say when it is there. BUT FOR NOW, I have some customers that get our Paper Pumpkin craft box in the mail every month, that are ready to see some alternate ways to use this kit!
This month there was a card and envelope add-on, and a refill, and we found some fun ways to blend the two to make many MANY more Christmas cards, using with what came originally in the paper pumpkin box. We also are using the Trucking Along bundle that is on the stamping up website under “online exclusives”.
The pictures do not show the massive amount of bling that the add-on cards come with, or that the original cards have as well. For information on becoming a paperpumpkin customer, or for getting in on a class to make these cards, please let me know below. 🎄🎉
So fun! Thanks to Debbie Carlson for brainstorming with me and helping come up with these beautiful cards. More instructions will be on my blog.

So a departure from stamping tonight, but I thought I’d share a great thing: I’m binding a baby quilt…for our new grandbaby!!! Nikki and Garrett are having a baby in March, and we are super happy 💕🎉
I’ve learned recently from my mother-in-law how to do a blind stitch, and it’s working! I’m loving having a down evening, watching TV with my hubby and binding away! Making quilts is a satisfying project, especially when I know we’ll be able to wrap a baby up in it soon.
What do YOU like to do that would surprise me? I never thought I’d be into binding quilts, but here I am! I’d love to learn more about you!

Teri is our winner from yesterday’s drawing! She has won gift card Christmas tags! They are a cool new item from Stampin’ Up that is a two-fer—a tag and a gift. I love hanging these from the Christmas tree for Christmas morning. CONGRATS Teri!!!
