Algunos gastos cotidianos pueden sumar alrededor de $44 al mes. Para algunas familias, una cantidad similar también podría destinarse a prepararse para la matrícula universitaria futura de sus hijos.

Con Nevada Prepaid Tuition, los pagos mensuales pueden comenzar desde aproximadamente $44, dependiendo del plan seleccionado. Al inscribirse, las familias pueden asegurar las tarifas de matrícula estatal actuales y comenzar a pagar con anticipación los costos de matrícula del futuro. 💙

Swipe through to see when certified mail, first class mail, or email notices are required. If an address or email is known to be invalid, that specific method is not required. However, the property is still reportable, and you must complete due diligence using any other valid contact information you have. 💼

Nevada’s future educators have so much to be proud of, and we’re honored to support their next chapter. 🎓

At the 2026 Kenny C. Guinn Memorial Scholarship Award Ceremony, we recognized four outstanding recipients who share a commitment to teaching right here in Nevada. Meet this year’s scholars:

• Kiah Cronin studies elementary education with an early childhood emphasis at University of Nevada, Reno. She maintains a 3.9 GPA and has made the Dean’s List since fall 2023.

• Ronald Bennett studies secondary education at Great Basin College. He has earned his associate’s degree and substitute teaching license.

• Izelleh Hernandez studies early childhood special education at Nevada State University. She enjoys dancing and arts and crafts, and her favorite subject is history.

• Jeyson Canela Lopez studies secondary education at Nevada State University. He is a first-generation college graduate with an associate’s degree and Dean’s List recognition.

The Kenny C. Guinn Memorial Scholarship supports two aspiring educators from northern Nevada and two from southern Nevada each year, helping them complete their education so they can teach in Nevada’s schools. Investing in these scholars is an investment in the students and communities they will serve. 💙

El último año de preparatoria puede pasar muy rápido. 🎓

Si su hijo o hija está comenzando 12.º grado, este es un buen momento para acompañarle mientras se prepara para lo que viene después de graduarse.

Anime a su estudiante a mantenerse al día con sus calificaciones, completar la FAFSA, aplicar para becas, explorar diferentes instituciones y comenzar sus solicitudes con tiempo. Al mismo tiempo, permítale participar activamente en las decisiones sobre su educación y su futuro.

Prepararse para la universidad también significa hablar sobre costos, ayuda financiera y cuánto podría necesitar pedir prestado.

Recordamos el 5.º Concurso Anual de Arte del año pasado, en el que jóvenes artistas de todo Nevada compartieron su creatividad y sus sueños para el futuro. 🎨

Felicitamos nuevamente a nuestros ganadores de Pre-Kínder:

• Hannah W. – 2.º lugar, educación en casa
• Isabella L. – 3.er lugar, SpringStone Montessori School
