I was selected by Lifetouch Photography during the 2022 National Association of Elementary School Principals conference to represent Nevada for the Guatemalan Memory Mission. We went to build a three classroom school house in an area about 20 minutes away from Tecpan, Guatemala. The people, volunteers, organizers at Hug It Forward, and the Guatemalan community left indelible marks on me forever. I left with far more than I gave.
