Virtues of Sending Durood Shareef
1️⃣ Command of Allah
The Qur’an says:
إِنَّ اللّٰهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ
“O believers! Send blessings and peace upon him.” (Surah Ahzab: 56)
2️⃣ Ten Mercies for One Durood
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Whoever sends one Durood upon me, Allah sends ten mercies upon him.” (Muslim)
3️⃣ Forgiveness of Sins
Reciting Durood cleanses the heart and brings Allah’s forgiveness.
4️⃣ Angels’ Blessings
The angels pray for the person who constantly sends Durood.
5️⃣ Closeness to the Prophet ﷺ
The one who recites Durood abundantly will be closest to the Prophet ﷺ on the Day of Judgment.
6️⃣ Spiritual Peace
Durood brings inner peace, light in the heart, and barakah in life.
7️⃣ Removal of Hardships
Regular recitation of Durood opens the doors of mercy and removes difficulties.
8️⃣ Acceptance of Duas
Durood before and after dua makes the dua reach Allah quickly.

It increases blessings in wealth, health, and family.
