Purpose Leadership Academy

05/03/2026

At Purpose Leadership Academy, we don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach—we build systems that ensure every scholar is seen, supported, and set up to succeed.

Our commitment to MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) means:
🔹 Strong, high-quality instruction for ALL students
🔹 Targeted support for those who need a little more
🔹 Intensive, individualized interventions to close gaps and accelerate growth

This is how we live out our L.I.O.N.S. Standard—developing Leadership, Identity, Ownership, Nobility, and Service in every scholar we serve.

Because when the system is built right…
➡️ Every student has access
➡️ Every student is supported
➡️ Every student succeeds

This isn’t just a framework. This is how we build a school that works for our community.

A message from our Founder Leondrus Wright

04/14/2026

04/14/2026

I joined Z Combinator in July, sponsored by Zeta Charter Schools, beginning an intentional journey of learning, growth, and reflection alongside eight inspiring fellows. What began as a fellowship quickly evolved into a true community—one rooted in trust, honest feedback, shared challenges, and collective problem-solving.

Throughout the experience, I sharpened my ability to clearly articulate vision, refine strategy, and pitch with confidence and purpose. More importantly, Z Combinator reinforced that meaningful school founding and entrepreneurship are built in community. The deepest learning came not only from sessions and frameworks, but from collaboration, dialogue, and learning from the lived experiences of fellow founders like Toni Fisher,!Kristy Beam, Johnson, Nicholas Ditto, Jennifer Rosas, Dr. Christine Keck, Loren Colman, and Jean Little.

This journey was made possible through Emily Kim visionary leadership and investment of Zeta Charter Schools entire staff, whose commitment to expanding access to high-quality education continues to elevate founders nationwide. I am deeply grateful to the Z Combinator team Rachel Marino and all the coaches, presenters, and my fellow alumni who showed up fully and shared generously. This experience reaffirmed my commitment to building Purpose Leadership Academy with purpose, leading with intention, and moving forward alongside a powerful community of founders.

We are proud to celebrate our Founder, Leo Wright, for being selected as a speaker at the Nevada Male Educators of Color Conference! 🎤🦁

At Purpose Leadership Academy, we believe in developing leaders who embody Leadership, Identity, Ownership, Nobility, and Service—and this moment reflects that mission in action. Mr. Wright continues to represent what it means to lead with purpose, both inside and outside of the classroom.

From founding PLA to impacting students daily as an educator, his voice is helping shape the future of education and amplify the importance of representation in our schools.

Join us in congratulating our Founder as he takes the stage to inspire, empower, and lead!
