At yesterday's PTA meeting we talked about our upcoming events AND our end-of-the-year pool party! We'll be looking for community partners soon to help us make this party the best ever, but in the meantime, mark your calendars for these amazing events!!

Very proud of the hard work of our teachers and staff as we were celebrated as one of 91 schools that joined the Superintendent’s Honor Roll! Schools recognized earned 5 stars, improved by two stars and/or improved their index scores by 20 or more points on the Nevada School Performance Framework.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our namesake, Betsy Rhodes. A celebration of life is scheduled for 11 a.m. Nov. 1 at Canyon Ridge Christian Church, 6200 W. Lone Mountain Road.

Thank you, Mrs. Rhodes for your continued service and dedication to the city of Las Vegas and Betsy A. Rhodes Elementary.
