I am beyond proud of everything my kids accomplish. Lori’s Deans List screenwriting education, Liam timing each bowel movement to keep track of how much time they’re taking away from his gaming, and then there’s Ricky! A senior. A varsity golfer. A soon to be freshman!! If you told me in 1997 that my son would be attending in the fall of 2024 I’d slap your face!! But my is getting a little more LUST on a few months.

Spirit day at school today. It was “Dress in Your Christmas Picture Best” today. Do Liam and I got dressed up!! BTW, I LOVE having Liam at school right me each day!!

The Beginning of the School Year can be VERY stressful to teachers and staff. My experience has shown MOST teachers suffer from some sort of anxiety. STOP adding to it!!

I had the first part of a root canal today so had to leave work early. But I’m an open book to my students!! I texted another staff member to show these to the students. Also great way to show students that may have dentist fears, that Mr. Rick has to go to the dentist sometimes too!

As the school year winds down and some college students, like Lori, heads back to school this week for the final stretch run, remember what’s really important! These kids LOVE s’mores!

They say not to remember the bad and celebrate the good. Well, I don't know who "THEY" are but it's pretty damn hard to forget the bad. Today (Last night) it has been 6 years since I said good-bye to my brother (Nick). Though he pi**ed me off from time to time we were the best of friends and both career educators. Miss You EVERYDAY!
