Building upon our traditional Chinese curriculum, New East West Academy proudly presents a brand-new program for PreK & Kindergarten students (Ages 3–6):

Music • Movement • Mandarin 🎶

Through songs, rhythm, dance, storytelling, and interactive games, children naturally develop their Mandarin listening and speaking skills in a fun, stress-free environment. Say goodbye to boring lessons and watch Chinese truly come to life!

✨ Learn through music, grow through movement, and speak Mandarin with confidence.

Beyond just language acquisition, your child will build self-confidence, foster creativity, improve focus, and learn the value of teamwork. After all, the best language learning happens when kids are happily engaged!

The robot built by New East west Academy Magikid AI Robotics summer camp students has three buttons connected to the VEX IQ Brain. Depending on the selected difficulty—Easy, Medium, or Hard—each button has a higher chance of becoming a game-over button.
On Easy, any button has a 1 in 15 chance of being assigned as a game-over button. To win, the player must press the dud button five times. Higher difficulty levels increase both the chance of a game-over button and the number of dud-button presses needed to win.
If a game-over button is pressed, the robot plays a sound, closes its jaws, and automatically restarts the game after five seconds.

They chose to spend a single summer completing an entire grade's worth of Chinese curriculum.

While their peers are simply waiting for the next school year to begin, these students have already taken a bold leap forward.

Come August, they will be stepping directly into advanced Chinese classes.

What they’ve saved isn’t just a year of time—it’s the leverage, confidence, and momentum to own their educational future.

This summer, instead of standing still, they quietly put themselves ahead of the curve.

The compounding effect of time is the greatest gift we can give a child's education.

🎨Art Class In this week's artistic exploration, colorful creations were continuously brought to life: children not only used vibrant paints to depict a refreshing Summer Ice Cream and Spider-Man, but also used acrylic markers to lay out a lively Summer Flowers piece, and further sketched a playful Mushroom through delicate line drawings. In upcoming classes, we will also feature a series of exciting sessions including gouache, watercolor, acrylic paints, and digital drawing. Diverse artistic experiences allow children to enhance their aesthetic literacy in a fun way.

♟️Chess Class Taught personally by the professional national champion coach who led us to sweep the Nevada elementary and middle school team championships! Many beginners joined in the first week, training their logical thinking and big-picture strategy on the black and white chessboard. They solved puzzles from famous historical chess games, followed by practices that prepare them for tournaments.
