This week we would like to spotlight Mrs. Dannaker!

Mrs. Dannaker teaches 3rd grade here at Hancock. She has been working in education for the past 20 years and loves it. Mrs. Dannaker is passionate about guiding students to take pride in their achievements, love learning, and grow into supportive members of our community. She shares that “nothing beats seeing the “Aha!” moments when students realize they’ve truly grasped an important concept - it makes everyday rewarding!”. When Mrs. Dannaker is not at work, she loves spending time around oceans, lakes, and rivers; in fact she was a PADI Divemaster and has explored tropical sites in Asia, Africa, and the Middle East!

Ms. Brooks teaches 2nd grade here at Hancock. She has been working in education for over 10 years in different areas. Ms. Brooks states she loves to teach and “enjoys the readiness my students have to learn, and their energy!”. When Ms. Brooks is not at work she enjoys going on nature walks.

This week we would like to spotlight Mrs. Fraser! ⭐️

Mrs. Fraser teaches in Special Education as an SPTA. She has been working here at Hancock for 4 years and began working in special education because of her son, who has autism. She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in special education at WGU. Mrs. Fraser shares “I enjoy being around all of the kids. They make me happy and are the reason I enjoy coming to work.” When Mrs. Fraser is not at work, she loves taking Costco trips and hiking with her family!

This week we would like to spotlight Mrs. Klutz! ⭐️

Mrs. Klutz teaches Humanities to all Kinder- 5th-grade students here at Hancock. She has been teaching for 4 years; after retiring from her first career, she wanted to work in education alongside her daughter, Miss Charny. Mrs. Klutz shares that she is a "fearless, history-loving, art-making, craft-creating cat lady who enjoys watching students realize they can do something they did not think they could do!”

A new school year begins this Monday August 10th, and we are so excited to welcome you back home ❤️

This year, we invite every student, family, and staff member to “Walk With a Purpose.”
Walk with confidence.
Walk with kindness.
Walk knowing you belong.

📢 Don’t forget:

• ⏰ School hours: 7:30 AM – 1:41 PM
• 🚪 Gates open at 7:15 AM
• 🔄 Important change: ALL students will be dropped off and dismissed at the C/D Gate this year
• 👶 Pre-K only: Dismissal will be from the MPR

Together, we will grow, learn, and soar higher than ever. ✨
